Congratulations to our Lown Cardiologists, all recognized as Distinguished Physician Leaders in Concierge Medicine

The Lown Cardiology Group earned the Editor’s Choice Award for 2022-24 as Distinguished Physician Leaders in Concierge Medicine, a biennial honor bestowed by Concierge Medicine Today (CMT), the industry’s oldest and most respected trade publication. This uniquely meaningful honor is given every two years to less than one percent of doctors across the U.S. and the world who have made a significant impact on and contribution to concierge medicine.

“What all the physicians chosen have in common however is their curiosity to learn more about medicine, their great big heart for serving patients and their irresistible desire to be a leader when their patients and the healthcare marketplace at-large asks them to step up to the challenge,” says CMT Editor Michael Tetreault. “Not only have they met this leadership challenge, they’ve sent back maps for others to follow and left their mark along the way.”

Dr. Dara Lee Lewis Honored as Star Educator by Harvard Medical School

Kudos to Dr. Dara Lee Lewis, who recently received the “Excellence in Classroom Instruction Award” from Harvard Medical School. Students on the school’s Graduation 2022 Faculty Awards Committee described her as “a star educator, advocate for students, brilliant cardiologist, and a vital part of the successful Homeostasis preclinical curriculum.” Committee members also said: “She cared deeply about cardiology and sharing the beauty of the heart with us – and several of our classmates are now pursuing cardiology, cardiac surgery, and cardiac anesthesia from her example. And, more than that, she cared deeply about us. She exuded a light in the classroom that drew us in, inspired a joy in learning, and nourished a deep sense of community.”

Congratulations Dr. Lewis!
